By accessing and using Active North's services, website, or facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Active North provides sports and recreation services across Canada, including:

• Sports training programs and coaching
• Youth and adult recreational activities
• Facility rentals and equipment access
• Community events and tournaments
• Fitness classes and wellness programs

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Update your information as necessary
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Code of Conduct

All participants must adhere to our code of conduct:

• Treat all participants, staff, and volunteers with respect
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions
• Use facilities and equipment responsibly
• Refrain from discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behavior
• Comply with all facility rules and regulations

5. Health and Safety

Participation in sports and recreational activities involves inherent risks. You acknowledge that:

• You participate at your own risk
• You are responsible for assessing your fitness level
• You will disclose relevant health conditions
• You will follow safety instructions and use protective equipment
• Active North is not liable for injuries resulting from normal program activities

6. Payment and Refunds

Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of registration unless otherwise specified
• We accept major credit cards and electronic transfers
• Late payments may result in program suspension

Refund Policy

• Cancellations 48 hours before program start: full refund minus processing fee
• Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% refund
• No refunds after program commencement except for medical reasons
• Program cancellations by Active North result in full refunds

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our programs, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Active North or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Active North shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or lost profits.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Active North, its employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms, safety concerns, or other legitimate business reasons. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
